Septemper 4/5

I have no clue what I had yesterday. It was rather a picky day. Although I know that lunch involved some salad and melon!

I was meant to host our final Brownie Badge day. It ended up just being an end of holiday meal as the person meant to do the badge with us had to cancel.

We had pizza, garlic bread and cake followed by bubbles and play on the field!

Back to school in the morning.

September 9th

I suck at blogging my food/excersize choices!

However. I've managed not to eat the whole bar of chocolate in one hit (so far!)

Today, I had the HUGEST veggie sausage & egg roll in cheese bread for breakfast. Would have been lovely if the bread wasn't stale! Washed down with a couple of diet cokes.. in between washing up, stripping/hoovering/making bed, cooking breakfast for my parents and doing the bits I normally do for them!

Lunch was pickles and 2 cheese & onion sandwiches

yoghurt, cake, a couple of crisps and more diet coke

tea was tomato and mozarella pasta. and more pop. I need to work harder on non carbonated drinks!

i'm going to have some chocolate tonight! I will lose the inches. I may join a group tomorrow, I may not.......

September 3

left over rhubarb crumble/jam roly poly/custard for breakfast... I really need to get to the shops!

Shared a block of chocolate wtih the kids. Limited myself to 3chunks

Spicy bean burger, wedges, 2x granary rolls, pickles, sauce & butter for lunch

ricotta pasta, granary roll & butter for tea

2 cans pop, 1 pint squash. Not fancied the pop and been too busy tidying up and washing up to make the squash!

Got some left over ice cream int eh freezer. Once it's gone I won't have it there to tempt me (and it's in need of going, been there a month!)

September 2

I think I'm going to learn about my habits with this.

I started the day well enough.... 2 slices toast & Marmite. Can of diet coke while dealing with the parentals (My sister and I share their care, along with Clive who shares the driving with my sis). Home again and found a random left over chocolate** cake from our picnic the other day.

** I am a complete chocoholic. But explain just HOW I've had a bar of dairy milk in my bag for almost 3wks?!

Made pancakes for a brunch feast with our visitor. The kids LOVE pancake feasts.. The toppings are the thing here LOL. Anyway. I had mine with Strawberries, drizzle of maple syrup and squirty cream. Then more cream with more strawbs and half a banana.  And Rick's last 1/4 pancake.....

I have a glass of squash on the go and have made macaroni cheese for dinner. With or without garlic bread will be up to the kids and their God Mother.

I'm an impulse eater. Rick wanted dinky donuts yesterday. So I bought some for him to share with the girls. But they smelt sooo good that we ate them on the way home :o/

Not sure I'll lose weight this way. We shall see. If I can avoid the impulse to shove random food in my mouth..........

My sister has set up a 15 lbs in 15wks challenge. I'm going to find a way to weigh myself tomorrow and join in.

September 1

So, today is the day that I start again. I'm a size 22/24. I'm aiming to reduce my dress size to a 14/16.

Starting the day with a can of diet coke. We're almost certainly going out for a meal. That will be my main meal for the day.

Excersize today involves swimming in the pool and probably paddling in the lake with Rick- unless I get a chance to go canoeing as well.

Neglected.

I have neglected my challenge, and this blog for a year. Our lives got "flip turned upside down" last August. We had to rely on the generosity of friends and relatives and sleep on floors for a month. Then we relocated to SW Wales. It's been the best thing that could have happened. Except that it happened the way it did. I don't want to go into more detail. It's on my main blog if you want to find it.

I need to get back into the swing of THIS challenge. I have my full target pledged by a friend who's wife has suffered in the past 18mos. Plus another £10-£15 from other people. This is still going to be a marathon, not a sprint. But a photo that my husband took has spurred me back into action. It will also make my dream easier to acheive.




Hopefully I'll be able to take my Canoe test next year. I can't imagine sitting in a canoe for 100 miles the size I am. I'm fatter than my mother now. The heaviest in the family. It's depressing. And the photos just show how bad I look. Not to mention that even the weight of my two girls in the front of the canoe can counter balance me.

September 1st (for convenience) I shall be logging my food/activities again via spark people. I  have no scales so I'll be going by dress size. Can I get from a 22/24 to a 14/16. I don't want to be a size 0. Just be able to wear clothes that don't look like a tent.

to quit or not to quit

that is the question. i gained 3lbs. thats when i normally give up.. but this time i've been pledged £110 for my chosen cahrity. i NEED to get the weight off. draw a line under the holiday week. get back on track and GET IT OFF!!!
